我好些年没有正经看完什么书了。值得庆贺。很遗憾Weil对自己在美国的日子没有更多的描写。Weil的妹妹跟他完全两个人。他妹妹也算得上什么家（可能是哲学），而且积极参与各种社会活动。当他们一家人终于离开战乱的法国，在美国落脚之后，她却认为同胞在受难，自己不能独享太平。重新回到英国，参与到解放法国的事业中。虽然很快就死了。

Weil实在太牛了，甚至让自己的亲妹妹觉得压抑。这里有一段：
